Prunella and Adam said “I do” on a beautiful, sunny September day. There were around 100 of their family and friends who all had a fabulous time celebrating Prunella and Adam’s marriage. The Tuscan Wedding worked closely with the couple in order to fulfill all of their needs and wishes for their special day. We could not have captured this spectacular day without Studio Bastianoni, the perfect photographer for the job. This celebration of love was at the Villa Catignano, which is located on a beautiful hill with extraordinary views of Siena in the Tuscan countryside. The private villa is very close to popular cities and towns in the area like San Gimignano, Florence, and Arezzo. This villa has it all, with lots of gardens and outdoor space for a ceremony, along with a pool. This villa has many rooms that can accommodate all your wedding guests as well.
Prunella and Adam shared their vows outdoors during a symbolic ceremony in the garden. Some of their family members shared a few words during the ceremony to make the ceremony more personal. All of Prunella and Adam’s guests sat in simple white chairs in the grass on either side of the aisle leading up to a gorgeous arch draped with white cloth, detailed with green vines and light and dark pink roses. These colors continued throughout the wedding; all different shades of pink were scattered around the venue. The bride’s bouquet was filled with light and dark pink roses wrapped in a white ribbon, while the bridesmaid’s bouquets were filled with simple white roses. Flowers Living did an excellent job creating the floral pieces for the day, creating the vision and color theme Prunella and Adam had wished for. The bride wore a beautiful off the shoulder white dress; the top was a gorgeous lace pattern with a long white train. Prunella was unique when choosing her bridesmaid’s dresses, instead of having each bridesmaid in the exact same dress; the girls wore different styles of dresses. Not only were they different styles but they differed in colors as well, ranging from light purple, to light orange and pink. The colors matched perfectly with the rest of the day and looked fabulous in the photo memories. The groom wore a dark tux with a light yellow tie while the groomsmen were unique as well. Each of them wearing different shades of dark colored tuxedos without a tie, this looked very casual and fun. The boutonnières were small pink roses tied with a simple white ribbon to add a pop of pink to the men’s attire. Lastly, the cutest flower girls lead the ceremony wearing white dresses and a white rose crown on their head, carrying a basket of rose pedals.
Following the ceremony they dined outdoors in a square at the venue. The tables were covered in white tablecloths, surrounded by white cushioned chairs. In the center of the table there was a floral centerpiece, many different shades of pink and white roses with small green leaves were placed in a large white vase. These floral arrangements really stood out on top of the all white tables. Each guest had a white plate, utensils with clear and gold glasses. The tables looked very elegant and romantic, yet simple creating the perfect feel for the wedding. Above the tables were small simple bulbs that hung over the guests while they were eating. We loved this look; it created the perfect amount of light for the dinner adding a rustic feel. The simple white cake was built in front of the guests near a well where the guests were dining. Following the dinner there was lots of dancing indoors. There was a live band to keep the party alive and who doesn’t love live music? There were so many great memories of the day including a toast done by the groom where he opened a bottle of champagne with a sword; this was a funny twist to the day that made everyone smile.
