Natalie & Shane – September 29th, 2017
With just each other, their two close friends, and a little help from The Tuscan Wedding, Australian couple Natalie and Shane were able to have their dream destination wedding in the Italian countryside, at Borgo Corsignano. From the venue, to the flowers, to the makeup and attire, this wedding had a very natural feel to it. Love was really the center of attention today.
While Natalie was in her bridal suite getting ready, her maid of honor presented her with a very special gift. It was a custom glass slipper, just like Cinderella’s, that Shane bought for his soon-to-be bride at Disney Land, and waited to surprise her with. The bride professed that she had never seen anything so beautiful and unique as this incredible pre-wedding present! While still admiring her gift, Natalie transitioned into her beautiful bridal self. For her makeup, a smoky eye and soft pink lip gave her a glamorous yet natural style, and her hair was put into a half-up, half-down look with soft curls framing her face which shimmered with a bridal glow. The centerpiece was of course her gown. The bride wore a stunning classic white lace gown that fit just right, with a sheer neckline, short-capped sleeves, and an open back.
Shane and his best man where prepping across the property in a private cottage. He wore a baby blue shirt and navy pants, and topped it off with a single white rose. The boutonniere, worn proudly on his lapel matched the blossoming bouquet of white and soft pink roses held by his love.
In the late afternoon of a bright and beautiful Tuscan day in the countryside, Shane would wait at the chapel entrance alongside his best man, their celebrant and a solo musician, for his bride. Soon enough with the cue of the violin, here came the beautiful bride gracefully making her way to the church, across a long stone pathway. When the couple saw each other, their eyes lit up as if seeing each other for the first time. Natalie’s excitement could have also been from just one more surprise Shane had up his sleeve. Since the families of the couple were not able to join them today, the groom brought photos of their parents and children in heart-shaped cutouts, which hung pleasingly behind them, so that they may share in this special moment.
The ceremony consisted of the exchanging of very romantic, personally written vows, wise words from their celebrant, and the customary signing of their wedding documents, all to the beautiful sound of the serenading violin. Finally, in true Italian fashion, the ringing of the old church bell sent the couple off!
After the “I do’s” the couple strolled around the vast property taking photos and soaking up the love of the day. This fun couple embraced their beautiful property by hopping on the playground swings, walking hand in hand around the lake, and incorporating the estates featured sculptures, capturing memories to last a lifetime. Once the sun was set, the party of four was off to the intimate reception dinner arranged by The Tuscan Wedding.
