On a beautiful June afternoon, The Tuscan Wedding planned and organized an incredible photoshoot with some of the best vendors in the wedding planning industry at the breathtaking location of Castello di Velona. Overlooking the castle’s rolling vineyards, this luxury and elegant styled photoshoot was filled with art and beauty. We are thrilled with the outcome of this event, and the hardworking individuals that we collaborated with to make it all possible!
This luxury and elegant styled photoshoot was impeccably captured by Greg Finck. He was named as one of the top wedding photographers in the world by Harpers Bazaar, and we are delighted that he made the journey from France to the beautiful Tuscan region to partake in capturing every element of this exciting project. We began the day with video drone shots of the location’s features and surrounding vineyards done by the talented videographers of Waterfall, followed by our stationary set up created by The Wedding Letters that incorporated a simple yet overwhelmingly elegant design. Grey, peach and white stationary with complementing ribbon and floral accents added to the vision of this photoshoot perfectly.
Next was the ceremony set up that was located in the villa’s seemingly endless rolling Tuscan countryside vineyards. The design featured a one-of-a-kind archway that was covered with enhancing greenery, peach florals, and romantic lanterns on either side, harmonizing our peach and grey toned color palette impeccably. A bed of loose flower petals constructed the aisle within the vineyard that correlated with the bridal bouquet exquisitely created by Il Giardino Delle Fate. A mixture of peonies, English roses, scabiosas, and carnations with an accent branch of peach toned orchids established a simple yet strikingly unique bouquet. The bride’s Eddie gown was from French designer Rime Arodaky’s runway wedding collection, and completed this romantic and dreamy set up with a mesh floral bodice design, open back, and a crisp white skirt with a flowing train. Her hair and makeup, done by Cherie Spisso, added to this effortless beauty with a relaxed and glamorous up do with a soft, smokey eye. The groom was dressed in an elegant, deep navy tailored suite with a matching tie, white undershirt, and peach floral boutonniere. It was a completely stunning!
During the ceremony display was the arrival of Melanie Secciani from the Tuscan Wedding Cake. She specializes in creating edible works of art with complex, architectural designs that will surely leave you awestruck. After months of work, this finishing product was assembled and displayed beneath Castello di Velona’s white gazebo near the entrance of the luxury resort on a hanging glass plate, giving this cake the spotlight it deserves. This white tiered work of art had a base tier of hand strung Swarovski crystals that continued the virtually floating feel of the design. Two tiers followed, with romantically placed branches of orchids streaming down towards the crystal base. A similar rod of glistening crystals followed, with the final tier placed on top with more accent orchids. We weren’t kidding when we said her designs are literally edible architecture!
The location of the dinner area was overlooking a beautiful valley at sunset on the side of the castle. A single, rectangular table with a grey and white floral patterned tablecloth held an abundance of delicate crystal details that The Tuscan Wedding absolutely loved! A vertical gold frame was placed in the center of the table with hanging crystal accents and small glass candle globes that created a romantic atmosphere. Greenery and blush toned orchids were placed on top of the frame, followed by a bedding of lush florals streamed along the base. Candles were scattered throughout the table setting that included tall, glass candle holders as well as small peach and layered crystal ones that added elegant depth. Complementing grey napkins were held with a delicate crystal accessory beneath luminous glass patterned plates, and a single light peach carnation on top with ivory and silver cutlery. A fun added finishing touch to the table setting was a rose colored Diadema champagne bottle with gold plates and crystal embellishments. It was an exquisite set up that was brought to life by the talent and collaboration of all vendors involved during this wonderful photoshoot.
Overall, The Tuscan Wedding loved planning and organizing this event filled with expertise and artistry. Castello di Velona’s hospitality was splendid, and their luxury resort was the perfect setting for the vision of our photoshoot. We are extremely overjoyed with the outcome that resulted from everyone’s incomparable hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship. Thank you to all!
