After getting engaged while skiing on the beautiful slopes of Italy, Jon, a stockbroker, and Vicky, a jewelry merchandiser, wed on the 23rd of May. Sixty of their closest friends and families gathered at a lovely villa to witness them exchange vows and become husband and wife. The garden terrace was a perfect location for their civil ceremony as it overlooked the valley. When the ceremony concluded, the newlyweds and their family took pictures and the guests returned to the historic villa for a buffet of some delicious aperitifs. The couple had rented the private property villa for the week so they could stay and enjoy each other’s company in a gorgeous and relaxing setting. Lunch followed and was served in a private party room decorated lavishly in the main color scheme of black and yellow.
Guests found small bottles with limoncello as a wedding favor from Jon and Vicky. The scrumptious meal consisted of pasta, roast potatoes, mixed vegetables and other traditional Italian delicacies. The dinner had a country style setting. It was rustic and very simple. The couple wanted a very informal celebration and all different types of chairs were placed around one long table so that everyone could dine together. Jon and Vicky were at the head of the table that was decorated with vases full of lemons and a delicately made yellow runner down the center. The celebration continued all day as friends and family helped commemorate this special day with the bride and groom.
