This US based couple lived in Los Angeles, California and wanted to experience a different culture and see new sites as they expressed their love for each other and desire to spend forever together. The couple decided to have their big day at the Borgo I Vicelli, a lovely inn in the countryside on the outskirts of Florence–just close enough to the city, but far enough to enjoy time with friends and family during an important transition phase in a couple’s relationship to husband and wife.
When the couple arrived along with their wedding party, the enjoyed the first night in Florence with a lovely dinner. The celebration continued into the night with a festive party in the city center before the couple tied the knot the following day.
On Meredith and Eric’s wedding day, they gathered with over 100 guests for a beautiful, romantic ceremony. The pale hues of blue, pink and peach were utilized to frame the couple’s rustic chic ceremony. The Eric’s groomsmen donned blue suits while the bridesmaids stunned in long blue dresses. There was a nice balance between elegant and rustic elements which made the wedding seem very romantic, but down to earth and serene as well. During the ceremony, there was a live singer who serenaded the audience with her beautiful melodies.
This gorgeous May day was the perfect time for an outdoor wedding. The entire ceremony and reception was very relaxed and simply exuded love and kinship and beauty. Unfortunately, the groom’s mother and father would not attend the ceremony, so we recorded the ceremony over the phone so that the parents could still witness and be a part of this special day.
Once vows were exchanged and “I do” was said in the Borgo’s garden, the couple celebrated! They enjoyed appetizers around the pool and then headed to a terrace overlooking the Tuscan hills for dinner. There was a beautiful and dainty table setting with a gorgeous green runner of flowers where the guests were sitting. Together with the newlyweds they enjoyed music as they ate dinner. In terms of wedding cakes, Meredith and Eric choose a traditional wedding cake that was prepared right in front of the audience.
Once the meal was over, the guests enjoyed a night of dancing and listening to dj music.
cake was made in front of guests. Like any good thing, the wedding day came to an end, but Meredith and Eric said goodbye to their friends with ice cream trucks, picnic baskets, and wine as they all kept warm with blankets they handed out to their guests[:]
