On July 16, 2016, Russian couple Tatyana and Ruslan tied the knot at a wedding fit for a king and queen. These lovebirds currently reside in Switzerland and couldn’t think of a better backdrop for their big day than the aesthetic Tuscan countryside.
This beautiful couple chose the exceptionally restored Russian Orthodox Church of Florence for their religious ceremony one day before the wedding celebrations commenced. This church dates back to the early 1900s and is adorned with ornate finishes and intricate frescos, a beautiful backdrop to declare your love.
The following day, they held their symbolic ceremony among 100 guests at Castello di Vincigliata, one of Tuscany’s most famous (and for good reason) venues.
Surrounded by family and friends, the couple spent the morning of their wedding day preparing and celebrating what was to come. As usual, the bride could be found in preparation mode, while the groom relaxed and had some laughs with his pals.
The Details
Castello di Vincigliata sits nestled amongst the famous Tuscan pines, a hilltop venue perfect for a royal affair. The wedding ceremony to be shared with loved ones took place in Vincigliata’s majestic courtyard. Decorated in the colours often associated with Florence, royal purples and silvers created an ambiance that suited the venue’s elegance and antiquity.
To match the theme, Ruslan’s was dressed in a classy burgundy three-button suit, a black bow-tie and a single white rose as his boutonniere.
The Dress
Now for the reason real we’re all here (and really, the thing people look most forward to at weddings). Most brides will tell you (and if they don’t, they’re lying) that the wedding dress is one of the most important elements of the entire wedding. The dress not only has the capacity to set the mood, but is a bold statement about how a bride wants to portray herself to the world on such a big day. Because on your wedding day, a bride and groom should feel as if the whole world has stopped to get a small glimpse at the beauty of their unique love.
Now that we’ve set the stage, our bride, Tatyana looked simply chic at her religious ceremony and stunning at the events that unfolded at Castello di Vincigliata. At the castle, Tatyana was a vision to behold, with a beaded lace neckline and a ballgown silhouette, she was the quintessential bride every girl dreams they’ll be. The entire dress had a beautiful, feminine open back and was topped off with dramatic lace veil that trailed far behind her.
The Dance
Continuing in similar fashion to royal events, the couple made sure that their guests were well entertained throughout the night, with performances and certainly and endless supply of dancing. Unable to keep their hands off each other, the couple danced the night away with a happiness in their hearts that every guest could feel.
We are so happy this couple chose The Tuscan Wedding for their magical day and wish them all the happiness in the world as they continue their journey together.
