Italy was the perfect destination for Stéphanie and Hans, lovers of food, wine, and travel, to come together as husband and wife. The bride and groom along with 100 guests travel from Belgium to Italy to celebrate their love for one another. The couple first meet in university when mutual friends introduced them. The bride said it was love at first sight, and after only a few dates she knew Hans was the man she wanted to marry someday. The Tuscan Wedding brought the couple’s rustic chic theme to life at Villa Le Piazzole and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of the wedding.
On the day of their wedding the groom patiently waited under a rustic arch cover in white flowers, designed by Flowers Living, for his beautiful bride to walk down the aisle on the Terrazza Belvedere. Hans looked handsome in black tuxedo, white, shirt and dusty blue bow tie. Stéphanie looked gorgeous in her Aire Barcelona dress with beading on the top. Her natural makeup look and loose curls done by the talented Giulia Cresci were perfect for a rustic chic wedding. Her bridal bouquet was assembled to perfection by Flowers Living and consisted of white peonies, white ranunculus and white rice flowers and filled with olive and eucalyptus branches, matching Hans’s boutonniere
The best part of the couple’s wedding ceremony was how they made the friends and family a part of the ceremony. Hans’ had his childhood friend serve as their celebrant and Stephanie’s cousins along with two friends played music during the ceremony. To make the music more personal they musicians made up a song about the couple taking inspiration from their engagement in Loch Lomond. Based off the folksong “Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond”, the song was complete with gestures and lyrics about the couple. In addition, the bride’s brother, the maid of honor, and the best man gave speeches during the ceremony. What better way to come together as husband and wife than with the help of your family and friends?
Following the ceremony, The Tuscan Wedding set up a pool side aperitif. Guests enjoyed some Italian classics catered by Lodovichi Ricevimenti. Of course, the guests were able to sip on delicious drinks too served on an old bike used as a bar tender.
After enjoying the aperitif, guests headed over to the secret garden for dinner. The Tuscan Wedding perfectly set up the tables to keep the rustic feel with wooden chairs, greenery running down the table, and wooden signs that hung from the bride and groom’s chairs that said Mr and Mrs. As the sun began to set guests dined under sparking lights design by Wedding Music and Lights creating a romantic atmosphere. Stéphanie & Hans chose the traditional Italian wedding cake, a Millefeuille tiers cake with strawberries and cream, that they cut in front of their guests under a sparkling chandelier hanging from the tree.
The newlyweds and their guests danced the night away thanks to DJ Matthew who played all the hits that the guests absolutely loved and enjoyed the taking pictures in the photobooth. Every moment of the day was truly magical!
