For an adventurous and travel loving couple, a destination wedding at the beautiful Castello di Vincigliata in the Tuscan countryside was an absolute dream for Tiffany and Carlos. As school sweethearts, this admirable couple was together for 11 years before tying the knot when Carlos moved from his homeland in Greece to the United States where Tiffany grew up. With Greek and Venezuelan backgrounds, they harmonized a beautifully blended cultural ceremony with the help of The Tuscan Wedding to make sure their wishes were fulfilled on their special day.
Tiffany and Carlos had a memorable and intimate wedding filled with 60 of their closest friends and family to share their love and happiness with on a beautiful afternoon in May. Their multicultural, rustic styled wedding included pale pink flowers from Flowers Living,
olive greens, and earthy tones. Distressed wooden furnishings added the perfect touch to accentuate their unique and personable style achieved by The Tuscan Wedding team.
As a fashion stylist, it’s no surprise that Tiffany wore a stunning Calvin Klein wedding gown covered in lace with sheer, lace speckled long sleeves. Her romantic, fashion forward ensemble was completed with a pearl white headpiece to complement her half up, soft wavy hair-do. Carlos made his appearance with an exquisitely tailored navy tuxedo, topped off with a matching bowtie integrated into his sharp look. As violins played, Tiffany made a dramatic and memorable entrance walking down the castle staircase, putting a bright smile on Carlos’ face for the duration of their symbolic ceremony that was officiated by a close friend of the couple. Traditional Greek olive wreaths were worn connected by a single ribbon to symbolize their love and lifelong commitment to each other. After reading their personalized vows and embarking down the aisle, their guests began to cast rice onto the newlyweds as their lifetime together as man and wife begins.
After the ceremony, Tiffany and Carlos’ guests enjoyed an aperitif in the castle’s garden arranged by The Tuscan Wedding, as well as a courtyard dinner featuring impeccable selections catered by Galateo Ricevimenti. Their delicious eats included cold cuts, homemade bread, pasta, and veal fillets during their intimate, family styled sit-down dinner featuring Greek and Italian musicians throughout the meal. As a unique touch to finish the banquet, cocktails were personally made by the groom and distributed to their guests. Before their night filled with dancing and festivities began, Tiffany and Carlos kicked off the celebrations with a traditional breaking of plates to symbolize throwing away their old life and beginning a new side-by-side. A romantic and meaningful touch that was perfectly captured by the destination wedding photographer, Stefano Santucci, and Italian videographer, Matteo Castelluccia. A delectable cake provided by Galateo Ricevimenti featured a light cream filling with a variety of fresh, mixed berries on top that was assembled in front of the guests from start to finish. A crowd hit!
Tiffany and Carlos’ love is one of a kind, and their wedding day directly resembled this. Our team is extremely grateful to be a part of their special day, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
