My husband left a review a few days ago, but I just have to add in my perspective as the main planner of our family and give well deserved praise to Katia and the Tuscan Wedding crew for doing an absolutely fantastic job planning our wedding! We got married 3 weeks ago, but are still basking in the happiness from the week/weekend/wedding day, and we will feel this happiness for the rest of our lives.

I interviewed 6+ wedding planners with good reviews online, and Katia stood out from the moment we met on Zoom. She is extremely organized, quick to respond over email, and friendly. Their clientele are mostly American, so they are well experienced in working with Americans, and I just found our working relationship so easy. We had pretty much all the main vendors locked in within 3-4 months of working together. We made our site-visit trip over Thanksgiving, and that trip was memorable, too. My best friend and maid of honor joined us from Switzerland, and Katia was very inclusive and showed all of us around Tuscany. The menu tasting was impressive and decadent, and I just remember having so much fun on that day with everyone. I knew we were in great hands then.

Leading up to the wedding, we had numerous Zoom calls and texts. I could ask Katia whatever was on my mind, and she always had an answer. Even when she was going on vacation or had to tend to other weddings, I never felt deprioritized. She is a very good communicator.

The best part of working together was of course, the wedding! We hosted casual drinks, a welcome party in Florence proper, and our wedding at a gorgeous villa just outside Florence. Every event was so well executed, the details thought out, and really there were no hiccups. There are so many things to take care of on the big day, so I really really appreciated the fact that FIVE people showed up to support our wedding. It truly takes a village. I was the most relaxed bride on the day of, didn’t have to lift a finger, and was able to be fully present and enjoy our day to the fullest. So many guests commented just how beautiful and special our wedding was, thanked us for including them in the celebration, and those words meant so much to us and made all the effort (over a year of planning!) and money well worth it. You truly cannot put a price on lifelong memories and happiness that you share and created with people you love the most in the world. It is such a fantastic feeling, and I could not thank Katia and her team enough for making our vision come to life, and for helping create and capture these amazing memories for us.

One tip for couples considering getting married in Tuscany – the industry is well established so don’t expect to be able to negotiate a ton. The Tuscan Wedding host luxury weddings, and their vendors are top notch, so depending on your guest count expect to pay anywhere from $1,000 per guest and up. Also, we had divine weather in late September, so highly recommend picking a date in mid-September through mid-October (July-August are too hot). On our wedding day we had sunshine and a high of 80 degrees. Just perfect.

We loved working with Katia at the Tuscan Wedding to plan our wedding and welcome party. Planning a wedding in Italy from the US is not easy, but she gave us full confidence that we’d have the celebration we wanted. She struck the perfect balance of being receptive to what we wanted to do, while providing her opinion on what works well based on her vast experience.

First, she helped us define the vision then we decided how the event would flow and which vendors we should work with based on our budget. Her process is good and everything gets documented well. The costs, the aesthetic, the schedule, and guest list were all organized and kept up to date based on whatever we discussed during our calls.

Second, the quality of the vendors she connected us with was truly outstanding. Our guests were blown away by the quality of the food, flowers, photographers, and the overall experience. The vendors were all extremely nice to work with as well and know what it means to provide quality service.

Last, and most importantly, several members of the Tuscan Wedding team will be on site to support on the day of the wedding. This really let us enjoy the day without thinking about details. Just show up, enjoy the food and dancing, spend time with your friends and family, and let their team figure out the rest.

From the moment we started planning our dream wedding week in Tuscany, The Tuscan Wedding made us feel like we were in the safest, most capable hands. What they created for us was beyond anything we could have imagined, and we will be forever grateful to Daniela and her incredible team.

We had always dreamed of getting married in a castle in Tuscany, surrounded by our closest family and friends, and they brought that dream to life in the most magical way.

Our welcome party was the perfect beginning to the week. Daniela created the most incredible pizza party for all our guests, with beautiful lights, delicious food and the breathtaking rolling hills of Tuscany as the backdrop. The food, atmosphere and overall experience completely exceeded our expectations and it set the tone for what was to come.

Then came the wedding day… and, as every couple planning an outdoor wedding fears, the weather had other plans!

The day before the wedding, we met with Daniela to discuss the possibility of having to activate “Plan B” due to an unexpected storm forecast for our wedding day. We were still hopeful the storm would pass and planned to go ahead with Plan A outdoors, but Daniela reassured us that if Plan B was needed, she and her team would make it just as magical. She told us they were professionals and would handle whatever came our way and she was absolutely right.

On the morning of our wedding, the sun was shining beautifully. We were so relieved and excited that Plan A looked like it was going to happen. Then, just as I walked down the aisle, the clouds started rolling in and fast, along with hail and the most epic storm!

We managed to get halfway through our vows before we had to make a run for it inside the castle to finish our ceremony and get married. What happened next was nothing short of incredible.

Within 30 minutes, Daniela and her team had completely transformed the space and set up an entirely new reception. They somehow took what could have been a stressful situation and turned it into something that looked as though it had been planned that way all along. They didn’t make Plan B feel like Plan B — they made it look like Plan A.

And there was even more happening behind the scenes that we didn’t discover until weeks later. The weather had actually ruined the sound system, but Daniela had already arranged for a replacement system to be delivered before any of our guests even knew there was an issue. The music played, the speeches went ahead without a hitch, and we were completely oblivious to the chaos that had been happening behind the scenes.

That is the mark of an incredible wedding planner, making everything look effortless while quietly solving every problem before the couple even knows there is one.

We honestly had the most memorable wedding day and the most incredible wedding week and so much of that is thanks to Daniela and her amazing team.

The recovery/pool party after the wedding was the perfect way to finish the week. It was an absolute blast, filled with so much fun, laughter and happiness, and the perfect final celebration after what had been the most incredible few days.

And then there’s Daniela herself. We absolutely adore her. She became so much more than our wedding planner throughout the process — she was someone we trusted completely, someone who kept us calm, and someone who genuinely cared about making our wedding everything we dreamed it could be.

We travelled all the way from Australia to get married in Tuscany, and we can honestly say we picked the best wedding planner in Italy, hands down.

Daniela, thank you for everything. We are so incredibly grateful for you and your team, and we hope our paths cross again. We love you so much that if we ever make the trip back to Tuscany from Australia, we will absolutely be looking you up!

We just wanted to send you a proper message to say the biggest thank you to you and your amazing team for everything you have done for us.

It honestly feels strange to think back to when we first started planning together, because somewhere along the way you became so much more than our wedding planner. You have become a genuine friend to both of us, and we feel incredibly lucky that we got to share this whole experience with you.

Despite everything the weather decided to throw at us, we genuinely could not have asked for a more amazing wedding. Looking back on it now, we honestly cannot imagine it happening any other way. The whole weekend felt completely us, and so much of that is down to you.

We know just how much work went on behind the scenes, particularly with everything you had to adapt, rearrange and pull together at the last minute. The way you handled everything made us feel completely looked after throughout, and it meant we were able to enjoy the wedding rather than worry about what was happening around us. Katia was absolutely incredible and truly made our entire wedding weekend everything we dreamed it would be.

She planned and managed three events across the weekend, and we were amazed by how organised, seamless and effortless everything felt from beginning to end. There were so many moving parts, suppliers, timings and details to coordinate, yet Katia and her team had everything completely under control. Every event was so perfect and well co-ordinated. We had 145 guests so this was no easy task, so many of our guests said how amazing and organised the planners were and it was the best wedding they had been to.

What we appreciated most was being able to completely switch off and simply enjoy the weekend with our family and friends. Katia was always one step ahead – anticipating what was needed, managing every detail and quietly solving things before we even knew about them. That sense of calm allowed us to be completely present and enjoy every moment, which was priceless.

At the same time, the whole weekend felt incredibly personal. Katia really took the time to understand us and what we wanted, and her attention to detail, instinct and personal touches made such a difference. Katia’s amazing and fun personality really did shine through and she dealt with any issues we had very well.

Beyond being exceptionally organised and professional, Katia is warm, thoughtful and genuinely cares. Katia was such a pleasure to work with always managing to calm me down and deal with any worry’s and concerns I had.We will 1000% be staying in touch and can’t express how much we appreciate all the hard work that was put into the wedding of our dreams.

Looking back, we honestly cannot imagine our wedding weekend without her and her team. We cannot recommend Daniela and the Tuscan Wedding team highly enough. When we first started talking about a destination wedding in Tuscany, I was hesitant to commit to a location so far away without feeling confident in the venue. Daniela patiently walked me through venue after venue, answering every question and addressing every concern, until I finally felt comfortable enough to book. That process alone told me I was in good hands.

From there, it only got better. Daniela didn’t just execute a checklist, she helped shape the overall design and vision, pushing me to think outside the box with creative touches I never would have thought of myself. She brought ideas to the table that made the wedding feel like ours, not a template.

I cannot believe 1 year ago today was the most magical day of our family’s journeys together and I apologize it has taken me so long to properly thank you.

Where do I begin? Both of your guidance, creativity, attention to detail, vision, professionalism, warmth, grace and friendship created a dream weekend not only for Caroline & AJ, but for our extended families.

Everything from the first planning meeting to check out was flawless.

Despite seeing everything on paper, we still didn’t know exactly what to expect.

Arriving at Borgo Corsignano on Thursday 7/10/25 the excitement started to build. Getting settled and welcoming guests as they checked in, being with Caroline as she got her hair & make up “trial” was so full of anticipation. The welcome dinner was spectacular – every single thing (thank you for ordering the beautiful full moon and perfect weather -you really outdid yourselves ❤️😁). I remember being so amazed with the beauty of the decor and the arrangement and taste of the food, I was actually scared…I was thinking “This is the welcome dinner…how are we going to top this tomorrow?!?” The welcome dinner perfectly set the tone for the day to follow – casual, elevated, elegant.

July 11, 2025 – I have no words. Despite Gianna’s trip to the hospital (she is absolutely fine. The doctors in USA said your doctors did a perfect job caring for her-I just saw her last weekend and there are no noticeable scars – thank you Martina for turning an extremely stressful situation into an opportunity to get some beautiful photos of Caroline we wouldn’t otherwise have captured and allowing the day to progress without too much of an inconvenience for guests and vendors). This day was pure magic. Father John presided over a phenomenal grace-filled wedding mass at the church, the weather was spectacular, the mood was serious yet playful, the church bells and smiling faces of the locals melted my heart. As my mind travels to the celebration back at Borgo Corsignano all I can say is perfection, absolute perfection. I have never experienced such joy, relaxation, luxury, visual beauty, happiness in my life. I think of the cocktail hour and the food and drinks and anticipation of dinner and dance. Then seeing the reception space for the first time…spectacular! You perfectly executed Caroline’s vision and created a space that exuded elegance, excitement and love. The food, the atmosphere, the staff, the band everything was just so amazing- amazing is not even the right word to describe the night – maybe there’s a better word in Italian but I can’t find the word in English. Then the cake, the espresso martinis, the DJ, the dancing, the singing, the midnight spaghetti, the pure joy experienced by us and all of our guests was priceless. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And then there is pizza, gelato, spritzes galore, music, bathing suits and floats. A pool party to top all pool parties. Thank you for the Italicus spritzes – I was able to finally relax and drank my fill – a bit too much! Not even the rain dulled the fun that everyone was having. And the food truck was a perfect way to feed hungry (drunk lol) wet guests!! The night continued into the wee hours with lots of reminiscing of the past 3 days and casual conversation. A perfect ending to a perfect 3 days.

Martina and Federico, I cannot thank you enough. You created major core memories not only for Caroline & AJ, but for every single person who attended the events of that weekend. There is not a day we don’t think about it and not a family get together that Poppi is not talked about. And thank you for making my daughter’s dream wedding a reality.

This past year has gone by so fast but the memories of the weekend at Borgo Corsignano remain fresh and vivid in our hearts and in our minds.

Also, I wanted to share with you both, Caroline & AJ made me a nonna to a beautiful baby girl, Cecilia, 3 weeks ago. Mom, dad and baby are happy and healthy. God is so good!

Thank you, again, you both have left an indelible impact on our family. I hope our paths cross again somehow somewhere, but if they do not, know that we love you both and will never forget you and all that you did for us.

Daniela and her team at The Tuscan Wedding were an absolute dream to work with for our September wedding at Vignamaggio. From our very first call, we knew Daniela was the perfect planner for us.

As an event planner myself, I had a clear vision but didn’t have the time to manage every detail. Daniela completely understood that and worked with us in a way that made the entire process smooth, organized, and genuinely enjoyable. After our engagement in 2024 we decided to celebrate our wedding in Tuscany. We ultimately chose Villa La Selva as our venue and hosted around 75 guests. From the very first interaction with Daniela and her team, we immediately felt we were in the right hands. They replied quickly, professionally, and even included initial location suggestions in their very first message. Their professionalism and experience were evident from the beginning.

When searching for the perfect venue, we felt fully supported and guided. After visiting only five locations, it was clear which one was “the one.” Daniela was extremely transparent regarding costs and workload throughout the entire planning process. Although we ultimately went slightly over our initial budget, we were rewarded with an absolutely dreamlike wedding—well worth every bit of it. All of our ideas and wishes were taken seriously and implemented beautifully. The time planning was impeccable; we were ahead of schedule with nearly everything, which gave us a wide range of choices and kept the process relaxed. Even when spontaneous challenges appeared, Daniela and her team managed them calmly and professionally.

During the wedding weekend itself, Daniela, Viola and Federico were perfectly prepared and incredibly well organized. We were able to hand everything over to them and simply enjoy our time. They were always present and available whenever we needed them, yet they handled everything discreetly in the background. Their presence felt supportive without ever being intrusive—truly the perfect balance.

Looking back, we are deeply grateful for the amazing collaboration and the immense dedication shown by Daniela and her entire team. It is clear that this is not just a job for them; they put their hearts into their work. They gifted us a weekend we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
