After our engagement in 2024 we decided to celebrate our wedding in Tuscany. We ultimately chose Villa La Selva as our venue and hosted around 75 guests. From the very first interaction with Daniela and her team, we immediately felt we were in the right hands. They replied quickly, professionally, and even included initial location suggestions in their very first message. Their professionalism and experience were evident from the beginning.

When searching for the perfect venue, we felt fully supported and guided. After visiting only five locations, it was clear which one was “the one.” Daniela was extremely transparent regarding costs and workload throughout the entire planning process. Although we ultimately went slightly over our initial budget, we were rewarded with an absolutely dreamlike wedding—well worth every bit of it. All of our ideas and wishes were taken seriously and implemented beautifully. The time planning was impeccable; we were ahead of schedule with nearly everything, which gave us a wide range of choices and kept the process relaxed. Even when spontaneous challenges appeared, Daniela and her team managed them calmly and professionally.

During the wedding weekend itself, Daniela, Viola and Federico were perfectly prepared and incredibly well organized. We were able to hand everything over to them and simply enjoy our time. They were always present and available whenever we needed them, yet they handled everything discreetly in the background. Their presence felt supportive without ever being intrusive—truly the perfect balance.

Mother of the bride, here, to sing the highest praises of Katia and The Tuscan Wedding team. My last child of four got married in Tuscany last week and from start to finish of the planing, everything was perfection! And that is saying a lot having planned an overseas wedding / vacation for 70 from the US. We initially interviewed five different planning services via Zoom but when we met Katia my daughter and I knew immediately she and The Tuscan Wedding were the perfect match. From the first meeting online Katia shared a presentation letting us know what we could expect and when throughout the 18 months we would plan together. One of the details I remember most from that initial meeting that held true through the wedding itself was Katia sharing that she would always have a team behind her — each offering their own expertise. We were presented with a mood board and budget update reflecting my daughter’s vision and they were updated regularly as plans changed or estimates came in. Katia was fantastic about offering us options at different price points for various vendors — all of whom had been well vetted. Daniela, the owner of The Tuscan Wedding, a highly creative person and key designer, was also wonderful to consult with when we did our one in-person visit which only added to our overall confidence in The Tuscan Wedding. And as amazing as everything looked and tasted during the three-day event, recognizing that we cared most about our guests’ experiences and helping us make all so smooth for family and friends was the best part of all. We just got back from our dream wedding in Tuscany and keep looking back on the perfection that was our 3 day event! The Tuscan wedding team was by our side for 18 months from site searching down to napkin selection! Our planner Katia was super responsive, well versed in the areas vendors, and would help me shape my vision into a reality. I am a very detail oriented person, so non stop questions and change requests for Katia was a regular experience for her and she always approached me with kindness, her perspective, and ultimately support of whatever I decided! A Dream Wedding in Tuscany Made Possible by Martina and The Tuscan Wedding Team

As a bride-to-be frong Hong Kong who had only attended four weddings before and was completely unsure about what I wanted in terms of venue, color palette, or style, I reached out to over 20 wedding planners across France and Italy at the very start of my planning journey. Among them, Martina from The Tuscan Wedding stood out remarkably. She was the only planner who truly cared, genuinely understood my vision (even when I didn’t fully know it myself), and sincerely wanted to help me create the perfect day. We instantly connected, and her passion and insight were key reasons why I ultimately chose Tuscany as my wedding destination—and Villa Valentini Bonaparte as our venue. Her role in shaping this decision was absolutely pivotal.

Patient Guidance Over 15 Months of Planning

Over the course of 15 months, Martina patiently guided me through venue selections. As a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail, I was quite indecisive and needed reassurance. After six months of back-and-forth and visiting virtually multiple venues in Tuscany, I found myself feeling disappointed and overwhelmed. I decided to fly over to Tuscany for a site visit. It was then that Martina confidently suggested revisiting Villa Valentini Bonaparte—the very first venue I had seen but initially overlooked. Trusting her intuition, I gave it another chance, and the moment I stepped through the gates, I fell in love – the villa is so gorgeous way beyond the photos on site. That visit was a turning point.

From that moment on, the planning process became incredibly smooth. Martina met me in person and, with her sharp understanding of my tastes and preferences, quickly curated the perfect selection of vendors—balancing style, budget, personality, and availability flawlessly.

A Dynamic Duo: Martina and Federico

Federico, another integral member of The Tuscan Wedding team, was equally amazing. He supported me throughout the entire process, expertly communicating my wishes and helping coordinate edits and improvements with vendors. Martina and Federico worked seamlessly as a team, keeping everything on track and moving forward. Thanks to their combined efforts, I went from feeling anxious and overwhelmed to calm, confident, and genuinely excited about the wedding.

The amount of detail they managed—from room assignments, transportation, and stationery to color palettes, flower types, music playlists, and even a Plan B (thankfully, it didn’t rain on the big day despite the storm from 6–9 a.m.! I was crying at 7 a.m., and thank you, Martina, for mentally supporting me)—was unimaginable. They handled everything smoothly on the wedding day, so I didn’t have to worry about anything.

Unwavering Support on the Big Day

On the wedding day itself, the Tuscan Wedding team’s support was nothing short of extraordinary. They felt like family—always there to shield me from stress, manage communication between guests and vendors, and ensure every detail was flawlessly executed. Martina was like a caring “big sister” (or “mom,” though she’s far too young!) who constantly checked in to make sure I was mentally and physically ready for the big day.

Beyond Expectations: A Stunning Celebration

What truly surprised me was how the wedding turned out to be even more stunning and beautiful than I had ever imagined. The flowers, lighting, food, live band, and music were all exquisite. The level of support was incredible—around 30 staff from various vendors worked together to create a luxurious and seamless experience for our intimate gathering of 70 guests.

I feel like the luckiest bride in the world. Everything aligned perfectly and exceeded all my expectations. My husband, who is usually quite indifferent to aesthetics and material things, kept telling me how happy he was and how beautiful the wedding looked. He shared that many guests and family members complimented him, saying, “Your wife did such a great job.” As a wife, this was one of the most meaningful compliments I could receive after exchanging our vows. Having a successful, beautiful wedding that made my husband, family, and guests so happy feels like the very first great accomplishment in our marriage—before all the wonderful things still to come.

First of all, I am sorry for the delay. I kept trying to write this letter and kept getting emotionally overwhelmed each time. But now, with your own wedding fresh in your mind, I have TWO reasons to write—well, probably many more than that.

First, congratulations. For someone whose job it is to celebrate others’ love and joy, it is FINALLY your time to be celebrated, to be surrounded by the people you love most and simply be in the moment—or as much in the moment as you allowed yourself without trying to take charge of anything. You make so many couples’ dreams come true, and I just hope the day was everything you dreamed of and more. I know being a bride isn’t easy; I know stepping into the spotlight when you prefer to be behind the scenes feels almost impossible. But there are hundreds of people who want to rejoice in your beauty, joy, kindness, and love. Luckily, you didn’t have to invite hundreds, but know that there is an international crowd of clients, vendors, Instagram lurkers—you name it—who are looking on, reveling in the opportunity for you to be center stage and appreciated. I wish you both another lifetime of happiness because I know you have already had one together. I wish you both true respect and partnership and unwavering appreciation, affection, and balance. No one is more deserving. Within love and friendship lies mutual understanding and appreciation, and while I have never met your new husband, I can imagine the balance and deep-seated joy he brings to your life. That kind of love, where someone truly sees and honors who you are at your core, is what makes a marriage not just survive but flourish. I hope your wedding day reminded you of that beautiful truth, and I hope every day since has been filled with that same recognition and celebration of the extraordinary person you are.

Part two: the thank you. I know I wrote your team letters, and there is SO much more I could say to all of you—Christiana, Viola, Fedora, and anyone else reading this email. I can only reiterate how miraculous you all are and how lucky I feel to have had you as part of our team. I enjoyed every second of wedding planning: every email, call, decision, budget recap, napkin folding, mis-measured tablecloth—you name it. And that was in part because waking up and getting to collaborate with this team was an absolute dream.

Daniela, as you know, like you, I prefer to be in the wings. I am much happier designing and directing than standing in a spotlight (ironic for someone who was an actor). From day one, you gave me the confidence, freedom, and perspective to allow me to attempt to plan our wonderful weekend. As soon as we spoke that first day, I knew you were the only person I could work with. I knew immediately that there wasn’t anyone else I would even stand a chance of “letting go” with for the actual wedding. I still feel like I could have gone in a million different directions and made a million different decisions, but you always kept me grounded and helped guide me toward an end vision and beautiful moment.

You do not need me to tell you that you are the queen of organization and structure—EVERYONE tells you that—and you also know that I disagree with anyone who says you aren’t nice. I know you make every bride feel like the number one priority; I know you treat each wedding with equal care and attention, and I still do not know how you find the time or energy to do so. But you truly, truly made me feel so loved and cared for. I don’t quite know how to explain it, but when you helped create it, it was so much more than a “wedding.”

Cliff and I had no questions about getting married. We were originally happy to run off to a courthouse and call it a day. As you might have been able to see, there weren’t really “nerves” in the sense of first looks or walking down the aisle—there was never a question of our partnership—but the big question was: how do we honor Fronzola and our friends and family with this moment? What you truly did was create a love letter. It was a love letter to a home that has been in my soul my whole life. You honored a home and house that has a hold on my heart, that taught me to believe in magic and beauty and discover what peace could really feel like. You helped us compose a thank you to the people in our village who have been our chosen family, whom we could honor and celebrate (even when they weren’t as professional as you like). You created an opportunity for us to be with friends who hadn’t seen each other in decades, for a father who, in poor health, could take his first-ever trip outside of the US and see the art he has always dreamed of, for a cousin who has been deeply ill for over a year to have a core memory trip with her daughter and be surrounded by a support system, and so, so, so much more.

You made a place where our family and friends could truly take a deep breath, could laugh and dance and eat far too much, honoring the deepest meaning of love and community. You really do work miracles—there is no other word for it. I am devastated I don’t get to speak to you all each week; I would love nothing more than to continue creating beautiful parties and challenging suppliers to come up with more tablecloths. I am sure everyone says this to you, but I truly hope we stay in touch. I hope that someday there will be some way I can repay you for everything you have done and the friendship you have instilled in me. We are your biggest fans (although I will challenge Cliff for the title). I am more than aware that wedding planning is anything but easy, that the job is to make the impossible look effortless. You once referred to wedding planning as being a surgeon as taking a moment that requires the utmost trust and care and precision and while (hopefully) no one has needed medical attention at any of your weddings, the analogy is spot on. You carry a moment in people’s lives that is so complicated by emotion, by family, by expectation and give others the chance to relax into it trusting that everything will be ok, that you understand the importance and hold hearts and hopes in your hand with equal respect and measure. Thank you, thank you for the most special time in our lives that everyone will cherish and carry with them, and thank you for your friendship.
