Dear Federico & Martina,
I cannot believe 1 year ago today was the most magical day of our family’s journeys together and I apologize it has taken me so long to properly thank you.
Where do I begin? Both of your guidance, creativity, attention to detail, vision, professionalism, warmth, grace and friendship created a dream weekend not only for Caroline & AJ, but for our extended families.
Everything from the first planning meeting to check out was flawless.
Despite seeing everything on paper, we still didn’t know exactly what to expect.
Arriving at Borgo Corsignano on Thursday 7/10/25 the excitement started to build. Getting settled and welcoming guests as they checked in, being with Caroline as she got her hair & make up “trial” was so full of anticipation. The welcome dinner was spectacular – every single thing (thank you for ordering the beautiful full moon and perfect weather -you really outdid yourselves ❤️😁). I remember being so amazed with the beauty of the decor and the arrangement and taste of the food, I was actually scared…I was thinking “This is the welcome dinner…how are we going to top this tomorrow?!?” The welcome dinner perfectly set the tone for the day to follow – casual, elevated, elegant.
July 11, 2025 – I have no words. Despite Gianna’s trip to the hospital (she is absolutely fine. The doctors in USA said your doctors did a perfect job caring for her-I just saw her last weekend and there are no noticeable scars – thank you Martina for turning an extremely stressful situation into an opportunity to get some beautiful photos of Caroline we wouldn’t otherwise have captured and allowing the day to progress without too much of an inconvenience for guests and vendors). This day was pure magic. Father John presided over a phenomenal grace-filled wedding mass at the church, the weather was spectacular, the mood was serious yet playful, the church bells and smiling faces of the locals melted my heart. As my mind travels to the celebration back at Borgo Corsignano all I can say is perfection, absolute perfection. I have never experienced such joy, relaxation, luxury, visual beauty, happiness in my life. I think of the cocktail hour and the food and drinks and anticipation of dinner and dance. Then seeing the reception space for the first time…spectacular! You perfectly executed Caroline’s vision and created a space that exuded elegance, excitement and love. The food, the atmosphere, the staff, the band everything was just so amazing- amazing is not even the right word to describe the night – maybe there’s a better word in Italian but I can’t find the word in English. Then the cake, the espresso martinis, the DJ, the dancing, the singing, the midnight spaghetti, the pure joy experienced by us and all of our guests was priceless. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And then there is pizza, gelato, spritzes galore, music, bathing suits and floats. A pool party to top all pool parties. Thank you for the Italicus spritzes – I was able to finally relax and drank my fill – a bit too much! Not even the rain dulled the fun that everyone was having. And the food truck was a perfect way to feed hungry (drunk lol) wet guests!! The night continued into the wee hours with lots of reminiscing of the past 3 days and casual conversation. A perfect ending to a perfect 3 days.
Martina and Federico, I cannot thank you enough. You created major core memories not only for Caroline & AJ, but for every single person who attended the events of that weekend. There is not a day we don’t think about it and not a family get together that Poppi is not talked about. And thank you for making my daughter’s dream wedding a reality.
This past year has gone by so fast but the memories of the weekend at Borgo Corsignano remain fresh and vivid in our hearts and in our minds.
Also, I wanted to share with you both, Caroline & AJ made me a nonna to a beautiful baby girl, Cecilia, 3 weeks ago. Mom, dad and baby are happy and healthy. God is so good!
Thank you, again, you both have left an indelible impact on our family. I hope our paths cross again somehow somewhere, but if they do not, know that we love you both and will never forget you and all that you did for us.
