When your wedding day comes you want to be feeling fabulous, fresh, and fit, right? Of course! All our brides want to feel and look their very best for their walk down the aisle. They especially want to look glowing as they take their first step as with their new husbands. Here are some of our tips on how to look and feel your best on your magical day!
One. Drink more water! This sounds easy, but did you know that most people are dehydrated and are not fueling their bodies with sufficient water? It’s so important for clear and dewy skin to be consuming enough water. Water will also detoxify your body and will get rid of toxins and any bloat you might have. Water is also key for good metabolism and glowing skin. Drink up!
Two. Eat up! Fill your body with natural and whole foods to optimize a healthy lifestyle. Yes, we agree that it is easier and sometimes tastier to eat junk food or calorie-dense foods, but by fueling your body with food in a natural, unprocessed state you will see many health benefits. First, by eating healthier you will lose weight, feel younger/invigorated, and will have more energy. As a busy bride, you will need all the energy you can get!
Three. Get up and move! Leave your car keys behind and say hello to mother nature! You’ll begin to appreciate the beauty around you, the splendor of nature, and the extra pep in your step as you breathe in the fresh air. Walking or riding your bike will not only get you up and moving, but you will also have a chance to clear your mind. Taking time for yourself is the best mental detox you can ever take.
Four. Tone! Tone! Tone! You don’t need to invest in a personal trainer to get you tight and cinched for your wedding. By simply joining a gym, you have access to awesome facilities and machines to get you toned from head to toe. Plus you can utilize any trainers on site for some extra tips and tricks. Don’t have time or the extra money to join a gym? Check out some fitness magazines or even a video online to get you started. Aim for at least 1 hour of exercise a day for 3-4 times a week.
And there you have it! These are our top four ways on how to achieve a healthy and balanced lifestyle during your wedding planning process. Follow these tips and you are well on your way to getting into shape for your wedding day. We would like to add that you should not want to get into shape for other people. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle should start with you wanting to embrace a wholesome diet and exercise routine. It may be hard to get started at first, but we believe in you! Get fit, glowing, and oh-so-gorgeous for your walk down the aisle!
