Tucked into the rolling Tuscan hills, a bright, beautiful sun arose on the 9th of September over Castiglion del Bosco, where a luxurious, romantic wedding would take place later in the day. Aleksandra and Shamsu, bride and groom to-be, could relax and enjoy the rustic, elegant accommodations offered by their chosen venue without a single worry. After all, their wedding had been planned by The Tuscan Wedding, and the wedding planning team is well-known for their attention to detail, impeccable professionalism, and connections to some of the best vendors in the wedding industry available in Italy.
In her suite, Aleksandra allowed Hair stylist Lara Navarrini to work her magic, leaving the bride with a glowing, natural look thanks to an elegant bun decorated with a simple yet sophisticated flowery bridal pin. It matched her dress perfectly – a sheer, gorgeous white ball gown with long sleeves and a full skirt exquisitely covered in intricate applique flowers and pearl detailing.
The look was completed with delicate, sparkling diamond jewelry to match her three-tier Princess-cut engagement ring and white pumps decorated with diamond accents. The bride and her bridal party were well-pampered throughout the morning, leaving them perfectly ready to enjoy the upcoming ceremony in the afternoon.
Shamsu was dressed in his own classic black suit, with a black Tom Ford bowtie and black cufflinks decorated with a silver skull, a nod to the Groom’s personal sense of style and perhaps sense of humor, as he later enjoyed photos with his groomsmen, grinning together at the camera as they all donned sunglasses for expert Photographer Koman Studio.
As the time for the ceremony grew closer, the air was full of excitement, joy, and so much love, and as Aleksandra approached her husband-to-be with her father in arms, the couple could simply not stop smiling.
Against the backdrop of ancient, flowering castle ruins and the lush décor done by the florists at Il Giardino delle Fate and The Tuscan Wedding, the couple exchanged their vows to the cheers of their guests. Around them, the aisle arrangements featured white and blush roses that matched the bride’s bouquet and Groom’s Boutonniere, as well as the graceful flower arrangements worn by the bridal party.
This same theme would be seen throughout the night and day, as Guests were welcomed after the ceremony to a reception with live music and an open cocktail bar hosted in an airy, luxurious pavilion and the sprawling gardens of a private villa, right by a beautiful pool facing the romantic Italian countryside.
Richly decorated with white flowing curtains, sparkling crystal and gold chandeliers, and the same blush-and-white roses hanging both from the rafters of the ceiling and along the golden floor lanterns next to each table, The pavilion was perfect mix between rustic, romantic, and elegant décor.
Everything was executed to polished perfection; from the sumptuous canapés and full-course menu done by Castiglion del Bosco’s own restaurant, a Wine and Cocktail bar featuring the best of local Italian Wines and Beer, and the beautiful three-tier wedding cake by Tuscan Wedding Cakes decorated in cascading flowers and surrounded by lit, romantic candles.
Aleksandra and Shamsu could even join their guests in enjoying real Italian Gelato from a rustic, charming gelato cart provided by Miss 500 – when they weren’t taking photos by a beautiful, white vintage Excalibur courtesy of Emanuel Pecchioli.
Even the smallest details – from personalized favors in the form of personalized extra-virgin olive oil and intricate, handmade wedding fans for guests to use in the Tuscan sun – helped make Aleksandra and Shamsu’s wedding an unforgettable event for all who attended.
After a night full of music, dancing, fun and laughter, both the guests and the couple could only watch the spectacular fireworks display that closed their fairytale Tuscan wedding with a glass of prosecco in hand and a dreamy smile on their faces, knowing their special day had been truly that: perfectly, blissfully special.
