As food, wine, and travel lovers, it is no surprise that Sasha and Daniel decided to tie the knot in their favorite city, Florence, Italy. The native Australian’s have been together for two and a half years and welcomed 23 of their dearest loved ones to their symbolic, terrace ceremony at the luxury Villa Corra organized by The Tuscan Wedding. The authentic and breathtaking interior provided the perfect location for an Italian destination wedding in April.
As music from the String Trio provided by Wedding Music & Lights began to play, Sasha made her appearance at the rooftop terrace escorted by her father. She looked absolutely stunning wearing a flowing, long sleeve beaded bodice gown with a sweetheart neckline. Her half up, wavy hairdo executed by Cherie Spisso complemented her tasteful crystalized tiara perfectly. The bride-to-be’s Christian Louboutin red bottomed shoes added a pop of vibrant color to her ensemble, harmonized with her white, peach, and purple toned bouquet with hints of greenery made by Flowers Living. Daniel’s attire consisted of a timeless black tailored suit with a crisp, light grey tie. A white boutonniere with matching purple lilacs and falling greenery accentuated his classic look splendidly. Their heartfelt ceremony with personalized written vows was captured by Nataly Montanari overlooking breathtaking terrace views of the city of Florence.
Following their memorable ceremony, guests then ventured to Villa Corra’s mirror room for an exquisite sit-down meal catered by the villa themselves. Their tablescape featured white linens, decorative floral displays, and crystal candelabrums. The dining area was surrounded by floor-to-ceiling gold crown moldings, mirrors, and classic Italian artwork, all creating the ultimate dinner destination. The newlyweds guests’ indulged in Italian delicacies including Tuscan panzanella salad, tomato lasagnetta, ravioli, beef fillet, and a chocolate mousse, green tea sorbet to top it all off. Absolutely scrumptious! After a few touching speeches from the bride and guests, the catered to guests with a delicious Millefeuille cake. Layers of crispy wafers and Chantilly were made and presented in front of the guests, featuring a diagonal row of fresh strawberries and chocolate shavings for a beautiful finishing touch. Over a glass of Prosecco, the cake was cut and officially served!
To finish the night of wedding festivities, the couple engaged in a fun and memorable game in which they are seated back-to-back holding one of each other’s shoes in hand. Each round contains a question that the duo must answer by holding the correct shoe up high. Seeing the opinions of Sasha and Daniel as well as the guests’ reactions was absolutely hilarious. So much joy, laughter, and love filled the room in this moment.
A fun loving and down-to-earth couple such as Sasha and Daniel made sure that their true selves and values were incorporated into their wedding day, and The Tuscan Wedding was there every step of the way to listen and adhere to their every request.
