Approaching their one year anniversary on the 30th of May, Emily and Sharham will commemorate the day they wed. It’s hard to believe how quickly time flies when you are in love with your best friend and are having the time of your lives. In their classic and elegant wedding in a Tuscan Villa, Villa di Maiano, the two love birds exchanged vows and said “I do” during their religious ceremony. Emily has a very busy day and she works as a lawyer in London, who was born in the US with Italian decent. Sharham is a busy lawyer as well living in London alongside Emily who has Iranian origins. The blushing bride walked down the aisle with classical music playing in the background with a timeless and sophisticated dress and followed her bridesmaids dressed in a simple, antique pink shade. The color scheme selected by the couple was very peaceful and natural looking. The green and ivory complimented the ceremony quite nicely. During the reception, love was definitely in the air as the guests and couple enjoyed the beautiful venue and each others’ presences. A string quartet played throughout the dinner and appetizers until the conclusion of dinner where a jazz band rocked the party. To add even more fun, a DJ played music for the guests to dance and celebrate all night long. To add a sweet element to the night, we carefully crafted little boxes with sugar almonds and confetti placed on each and every table for the guests to enjoy. The dinner consisted of the following. First, potatoes, leek and champagne parmentier with black truffle. Next came ears and pecorino cheese risotto with red wine reduction. This was followed by chianina beef tagliata served with zucchini flan mint scented and asparagus. Dessert consisted of citrus and lavender sorbet Want to hear something special the couple planned? Two days before the wedding, they organized a cooking class where their guests learned the process of making their own pizza. They challenged each other in a friendly competition and then they assisted a professional pizza chef to create a yummy and savory dish.
