Chantal & Mark
Chantal and Mark love travelling and knew they wanted to have a destination wedding in Tuscany. The couple chose to get married in Italy because it is one of the most romantic places on earth. Moreover, its famous food and wine make it the perfect destination for a luxury wedding. So they booked a Villa Mangiacane wedding. Located in the Chianti wine region on acres of vineyards and olive groves, Villa Mangiacane was a beautiful place to celebrate their love. With the help of The Tuscan Wedding, Chantal and Mark were able to make their dream Italian destination wedding a reality.
Preparing for a Villa Mangiacane Wedding
The Tuscan Wedding arranged a Welcome dinner the night before the wedding at Obicà restaurant in Florence. Therefore, Chantal and Mark could greet their guests who had travelled from around the world to celebrate their marriage.
On the morning of the wedding, Chantal got dressed with her gorgeous chiffon mermaid covered in lace and exquisite applique. Finally, the talented Eleonora Gentile completed her stunning look with soft makeup and a low bun with small flowers and loose curls to frame the front of her face. The groom looked handsome in his light grey suit and bowtie.
The Ceremony
We held the ceremony in front of the olive trees. Her father escorted the bride down the aisle while a string quartet played the Pachelbel Canon. D. Mark had a massive smile as he waited for his bride to reach him. Chantal and Mark stood in front of a beautiful floral round arch that symbolized their endless love for one another. The flower arch was brought to life by Flowers Living, who took care of all the floral arrangements for the romantic day. One of the most moving parts of the wedding ceremony was the couple’s fathers were the ones to officiate the ceremony.
The guests had the perfect view as they could overlook the enchanting Tuscan countryside from their lovely seats. Furthermore, guests showered the newlyweds in delicate olive leaves as they happily exited the ceremony while Stevie Wonder, Signed, Sealed, Delivered played.
Dinner and Drinks at a Villa Mangiacane Wedding
After the ceremony, The Tuscan Wedding directed guests to the Machiavelli pool for an aperitif catered by Villa Mangiacane. The string quartet played music as guests enjoyed cocktails and delicious snacks. They serve dinner at a Villa Mangiacane wedding in the Villa’s courtyard. And the décor was inspired by the olive groves. The tables were beautiful decorated with olive branches and white candles. Wedding Music and Lights strung dazzling lights above the courtyard to create a romantic atmosphere. While guests enjoyed a family-style dinner, they listened to heartwarming speeches from the family and the bridal party.
Following dinner, guests enjoyed a dessert table with the Italian tiramisù, chocolate souffle, and the typical Sicilian cannoli. The party went on all night long in the barriccaia thanks to DJ Leo, who kept guests dancing the night away with his fantastic music selection. Stefano Santucci captured this fairytale of an evening in the most magical way – so beautifully done.
Reception
The celebration continued the next day with a delicious Pizza Party at the pool. The newlyweds and their guests spent time together enjoying a variety of pizzas and salads. A pool party was the perfect way for the couple to relax after their wedding day while still being able to celebrate with everyone.
