Grand Italian Summer Wedding in the Heart of Rolling Hills of Tuscany
Ti & Patrick wanted to bring all their family to their favourite country to celebrate their love. Italy. Their exclusive wedding at Podere Tesoro was a weekend of love planned to perfection by The Tuscan Wedding.
Bright summer colours, fun and love filled their wedding – a perfect representation of them as a couple.
A perfect start to the weekend
Before the big day, Ti & Patrick wanted to welcome all their guests to Italy in style. So, the Tuscan Wedding arranged a pizza party at Casale Campo al Doccio. It was the perfect taster of the upcoming wedding paired with Italy’s favourite food. Furthermore, they added Miss 500’s Ice Cream Stand to serve guests delicious gelato to finish their evening.
Starting the exclusive day
The couple wanted to get married in the afternoon, so they had lots of time to relax before saying their vows. Ti enjoyed a pampering session before having her makeup done by Joya Denuga. Her skin glowed with soft pinks and nudes. Deborah Lola Bridal set her perfectly in gentle waves before pinning it back into an elegant half-up style.
Patrick treated himself to a morning of pampering with a classic Italian barber. Once shaved and ready, he wore a striking blue suit that perfectly matched their bright summer wedding.
A ceremony in the rolling hills of Tuscany
Ti wore a stunning A-Line corsetted gown. The opulent dress had crystals and appliqued flowers that covered the sheer corset. It was a show-stopper, and no one could take their eyes off the beautiful bride.
The couple were married in the heart of Podere Tesoro’s acres of land. Surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills, it was the picture-perfect setting for a luxury Italian wedding.
Il Giardino delle Fate created stunning wedding florals. Ti & Patrick said their vows under a bespoke arch of orange & pink roses, peach lisianthus, delicate daisies and boughs of olive branches. In addition, beautiful arrangements of roses, fox gloves and stocks lined the aisle. The bright colours on the summer’s day brought the couple’s love and fun to life.
A special touch to the day was singer Sherrita Duran performing during the ceremony.
Perfect touches and details
The Tuscan Wedding is renowned for planning your wedding day to every detail; this wedding was no exception. They had thought of everything from parasols and personalised fans to keep the guests cool during the ceremony to the hand-finished confetti cones.
Furthermore, they hired Laura Mazzetti from The Wedding Letter to create a beautiful range of stationery, including hand-painted invites, service orders and menus that the couple will treasure forever.
Cocktails & Canapes
The couple returned to the main Villa in beautiful classic cars supplied by Classy Cars. Finally, the couple treated the bridal party to an extraordinary drive in Morgan’s and Mercedes around the Villa.
The guests enjoyed an array of Italian Antipasti while the couple headed off for photos. Sandy & Odysseas captured the wonderful couple throughout the day.
A Luxury Italian Wedding Breakfast
After a beautiful day and as the sun was setting, the couple and their loved one sat down to a lavish Italian wedding breakfast. Firstly, the couple enjoyed fresh pasta with saffron cream, tomato confit and asparagus and duck ragu with raspberries and sage for their pasta course. Followed by a perfectly cooked beef fillet in a local chianti wine sauce, served with baby onions, roasted potatoes and green beans.
Each course was paired perfectly with local wines to compliment the dish. It was a once-in-a-lifetime meal for the couple and their guests.
Finally, after dinner and the heart-warming speeches, an Italian pastry chef made their wedding cake in front of the guests. A Millefoglie is a traditional Italian wedding cake made with layers of pastry, chantilly cream, fresh fruit and powdered sugar. Having it made in front of the guests make an unforgettable moment for the bride and groom. Then, the bride and groom added the final touches before serving the cake to their loved ones.
A sparkling finish
To start the party and finish the wedding breakfast with a bang, Ti & Patrick asked The Tuscan Wedding to organise fireworks for their big day. Pirotecnica Soldi showcased a beautiful display that lit up the hills of Tuscany.
The party moved inside, where the couple celebrated their love with their first dance. The party continued with music by DJ Ed Gillum, and Wedding Music and Lights created a spectacular disco for the happy couple.
